Removed and replaced the ignition switch and still had the problem. Greased they with dielectric grease and it seemed to work temporarily. Thinking about trying to remove the tumbler to clean the contacts inside of it. Will search posts for possible assistance.
Trying to get to the ignition switch on a 2009 Mazda Cx-9. Can't lock the door because the car thinks the keys are still in the ignition. Not sure if you have to remove the steering wheel and airbag or not. Any help would be appreciated.
