2014-2015 owners, does your USB start from the first song every time you restart car?

Oh man, I hope this isn't the case for you! My wife's was upgraded/fixed, and while better, it still wasn't what he hoped. The USB media was still so slow with a lot of music on the stick. We ultimately just gave up on the vehicle, and traded it in. Good luck.

    Squeaks and Rattles

Hmm. That doesn't make sense to me. I'll have to look at my wife's. She has factory nav, so no separate radio controls. The shifter seems to be plenty far away from the radio are that the panels wouldn't impact each other. Thanks for the tip though, I will take a look.

2014-2015 owners, does your USB start from the first song every time you restart car?

My wife has seen a big improvement since the replacement, not just with audio, but the cell call quality as well. It was horrible before. Barely usable. But much better now, which is what I figured. This one BT module controls a lot in these cars.

2014-2015 owners, does your USB start from the first song every time you restart car?

What have folks results been with this BT module replacement? My wife's car is having it done as an out of warranty courtesy by Mazda (I had to make quite a stink to get them to cover it) on Thursday. I've read mixed results. What about the overall BT quality with phone calls? Will this...

    2011 Roof Racks

Well, in my case, skis. I just can't fit them in the car when mu wife takes the kids. So she needs the roof box (50 pounds) and 5 pairs of skis, about 12 pounds a piece. So just over a 100 pounds.

I know this is an old thread, but did you ever get this solved? M wife's 2014 GT has the same issue. Thanks

    2011 Roof Racks

I really think it's the cross bars that have the 100 pound limit not the rails. All the documentation I see, when I read the 100 pound limit, is noted with the cross bar description.

    CX-9 Roof Rack Capacity

So he's saying it is the rails as well, but when I read how the description is worded on the mazda accessory site, it's the cross bars that seem to have the 100 pound designation in their description... To your question on what I would use, I was thinking of not using the mazda cross bars, but...

    CX-9 Roof Rack Capacity

I posted this within another thread, but in hindsight, it was kind of a highjack, and I don't think it was getting seen. So I'll post a new thread to keep the topic focused...here goes... I've been trying to figure this out for my wife's new to her 2014 GT AWD. I've read a bunch of threads and...

    5 piece rear liner

I ordered one from that same ebay seller. Should be here tomorrow. I saw that setup in a CX-9 we didn't buy and it was awesome. The best I've ever seen and really protects the cargo area.

    Swapping 1 1/4" hitch for a 2" hitch?

I wish I could get a better idea about how the current notch will look with the EcoHitch vs the currently installed 1.25" hitch...Waiting for the company to get back to me.

    Swapping 1 1/4" hitch for a 2" hitch?

Just checked out the pictures. Looks really good actually, but when I pull the 1 1/4" hitch off, I'll have a cutout in the bumper. :( I did find this hitch, which is completely hidden except for the receiver, but it still sits just under the bumper...

    Swapping 1 1/4" hitch for a 2" hitch?

Ah, thanks. I thought you had a factory 2" hitch. That is my preference. Thank you though, I will look at the hitch you got. As you mentioned, the height of the hitch if it sits below the bumper is a concern for the Yakima HoldUp bike rack.

    Swapping 1 1/4" hitch for a 2" hitch?

Your 2015 came with a 2" hitch, or you put it on? I would love to swap out the one I have, for the 2" version, if there is such a thing.

    Swapping 1 1/4" hitch for a 2" hitch?

I talked to Yakima today, and they adamantly said 4 bikes on a 1.25" hitch will end in a disaster. Too much torque on the class II hitch. The +2 extension requires at least a class III 2" hitch. It is quite large when installed, so I'm not taking changes there. And like you guys have said, the...
