I just purchased a FWD Touring about a month ago. So far have been very pleased with the fuel economy. Getting approx. 29 mpg with a 70/30 city/hwy mix. If that mileage continues I will be very pleased.

yep. I also chose the silver touring model. I have had silver cars before and they generally don't show the dirt on the car like the darker colors do. Also, the CX-5 silver I think is one of the nicer silver paints.

I've driven a Forester a few times as rentals. Don't recall the mpg numbers being anywhere near that good with mostly highway driving.

Thanks for the heads up. As far as I can tell I am not accruing interest between now and the time of my first payment. I need to go back to the dealer tomorrow to pick up my all weather mats so I will double check. If I am wrong about it, I will just make a large payment in September.
