I just bought a 2009 Mazda CX-7 Touring. The screws holding the rear license plate were rusted and sheared off while the previous owner was trying to remove them. Now the damaged bolts are stuck in the holes.
I need to remove the inside panel on the hatch to get to the screws from the inside...

I have never owned a Mazda before.
Any tips, tricks, hacks or other info for my CX-7 would be appreciated.
My first mod will be installing a Pioneer single DIN headunit.
