    Is this a good price?

I get what you're saying. People are starting to come out of hibernation and might have some extra cash on hand, however, it's my understanding that Mazda is hurting pretty bad right now for sales, way below projections. Walk into a Kia or Toyota dealer and there are people lining up to talk...

    Is this a good price?

Thanks, makes me wonder, however, how many Mazda dealers there are between San Francisco, San Jose and Sacramento? There are 3 between Buffalo and Rochester NY, so I wonder if comparing prices is apples to oranges in terms of market competition driving down prices.

    Is this a good price?

Does everyone think it's typical to buy a 3 for $1000 or so below invoice?

    Is this a good price?

The "Factory Invoice" on your car with all the extras is $24,372 according to Truecar.com, which means you paid $1,872 below invoice. Did your price include the Destination Fee or any extra incentives? I guess I will have to cast a wider net online to see what kinds of prices I can get.

    Is this a good price?

My local Mazda dealer has an arrangement with my employer that gives me (and any of my colleagues) invoice price off the bat without the need to haggle. I figured that I'd be able to just use this as a starting price and negotiate down from there, but after about an hour or so of prodding it...

Incredibly Harsh and Bumpy Ride? Am I crazy?! ~ TEST DRIVE

Update: we went back and drove another 3, a different one, and a CX5. This 3 felt like a totally different car compared to the one that prompted this thread. Tonight's car drove much like you would expect from a car in this class. I guess there must have been something wrong with the one...

Incredibly Harsh and Bumpy Ride? Am I crazy?! ~ TEST DRIVE

Thanks for all the advice! I too prefer a stiffer, more planted feel in a cars suspension. I've always owned sporty-ish cars. My wife puts up with the stiffer-than-some ride in our Subaru, but like I said, the 3 felt much worse. It did feel like there was something actually wrong with the...

Incredibly Harsh and Bumpy Ride? Am I crazy?! ~ TEST DRIVE

Hi all, My wife and I are in need of a compact hatchback with an out the door price under 25k, and after test driving a Focus (with it's horrid transmission) and a Forte5 (with its dismal crash test ratings) we basically have few options other then the 3. Plus, I absolutely love the design...
