Happened to me while driving home from downtown Boston in a snowstorm. The whole front of the CX5 was covered in snow. Brushing it off fixed the issue.

What I meant to say is reverse the direction of the add-a-fuse, pull the fuse out of it, and you'll still have power. In that direction you are bypassing the fuse and have no protection on either circuit.

My recollection is that it does matter. If the other way you are bypassing the fuse in the circuit. Take the fuse out and reverse it and you'll still get power.

I concur, and I do a lot of towing with mine. The issues are mostly strain on the brakes and transmission, and the ability to stop quickly in an emergency without the trailer jackknifing on you, especially coming down a hill or on a wet or slippery surface.

I have a 2016 Sport AWD without Nav, and FWIW I've never had any problems with the infotainment system. I use the FM radio, USB drive with MP3s, and bluetooth phone connectivity. It seems like all the issues are related to the NAV system or integration.
