What did you pay for your CX-5?

$43,619 MSRP / $716 in fees $38,865 0% 60 months no down payment on a 24 Turbo Premium. It was a long Friday. Started with the dealer at 1 and was driving home a bit after 7. The dealership was very busy so most of it was waiting. The difference was a trade in of a 2014 Mazda CX-5 with 130K...

For those eagerly awaiting Gen 3

What Ferrari video? Anyway I wasn't chatting with you. I was specifically appreciating Uno's post (quoted him) about appreciating the sound of a performance car off in the distance while he was hiking. I must be an outlier because I don't fit most of what you posted. I love just about any...

Even if it is not a V8 it is music. Flat 6 can sound epic too. 911 GT3

    CX-5 Facebook Group

In some blind thinking that I was laying low on the grid I just gave it all up this past Friday. Now NFA has some really nice digital finger prints with a Form 4 to go with all the other shreds of data they have on me. :) I keep FB because of family, but rarely post anything. I would be scared...

    302hp RAV4

I have some other struggles and hurdles for EV, such as, where I park in the driveway and would have to hire an electrician to upgrade for proper charging. I am still about two years out from getting another vehicle and my #1 top car on my current list is a lightly used Porsche Macan S because...

    302hp RAV4

I watched a couple of the Rav4 Prime premier videos. So far I am kind of liking it inside, outside and performance wise. I will just need to see what pricing will end up at. Redline review was guessing $45K.

If there were a Like button this post would've prompted my reaction. :)

    Test drove 2019 CX-5. Disappointed

I am liking the 2020 Audi Q3 Sportback and especially the 400HP 2021 RS Q3 Sportback, but they say that one will not make it to the US. It would be the perfect size for me on the next car. I was actually considering dropping down to the GTI to get performance aspect. But I think I would like to...

    302hp RAV4

Yes, thanks. I made a couple of errors in that post. I meant EV (CX-5um brought up Tesla EV) for my personal car and it is Maxwell not Maxell that I posted above.

    302hp RAV4

It will be interesting. Tesla bought out Maxell to gain the ultracapacitor and there was some speculation if it would lock in long range battery tech. Let's hope that other car manufacturers are working strategically on a counter move or advancing battery technology. The thought of having to...

    Test drove 2019 CX-5. Disappointed

What is not known on some of these German variants in testing may make it to the market and some don't make it to the US. :( bummer I hope it does just to give us some more options to consider. Another nice new release from the old Big 3 is the new mid engine Corvette. It has a lot of features...

Yes, APR rep in Alabama has a current Tiguan and recently said that it could be released this December. I can't find the forum discussion now with the APR rep stating this. Here is the APR info, but I don't think these are ready for the America...

    Test drove 2019 CX-5. Disappointed

Quite the opposite. VW is getting hammered on the current 2.0. It has a lesser quality turbo than the GTI / Golf R and has been detuned. The Tiguan R is VW's response to those wanting more performance. Which massive Kudos to VW for responding to those wanting more zip. It will exceed the CX-5T...

    Test drove 2019 CX-5. Disappointed

Isn't that what we have been asking for years in relation to the big domestic 3 and why we are discussing this on a forum based on an Asian car manufacturer? My title is Senior Designer in one of the largest engineering companies in the world, but designers and engineers are often told to tone...

I feel the same, but I do like seeing these advancements and was not expecting that from Ford.

    Test drove 2019 CX-5. Disappointed

Yeah I struggled with the name connection and probably a lot car enthusiasts will. The point to my post it's interesting to see some new things coming out soon. I've only seen a sentence worth of mention recently from Mazda in terms of those type of advancements.

ugh.....now I am glazed over mentally after seeing the premiere of the Mustang Mach e last night. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA-qgSB076c Yes....it's a Ford....I know.....I must come to my senses. Distracted by shiny object. I think I like it. Hatch back Performance electric available (a...

    Test drove 2019 CX-5. Disappointed

I've seen nothing but complaints of the turbo 2.0 Tiguan. A few weeks ago I took a ride in a new Tiguan given to a coworker as a courtesy car. I was impressed that it did pretty good from 0-30 and much better than my 2014 CX-5, but my friend said it was gutless trying to pass on the interstate...

Winter is here and my CX-5 turbo is now a 2.0L!

Bummer.....hopefully Mazda will address this. Looks like more than a couple have experienced this with the CX-5T. I hope more will share their experiences or news about a fix as they come.
