My car is parked in a garage at home and at work, so it's out of line of sight from satellites a lot. I've noticed some occasional odd behavior by the infotainment system, especially Sirius not loading, which I attribute to garaging. Sorry for not providing a solution, but you're not alone
I followed the manual and did all the voice-recognition training in my 2014 CX-5 and it never worked properly. Because of that experience, when I got my 2019 CX-5 I didn't waste my time setting it up.

My car's dash lights will dim during the daytime if the instrument brightness knob isn't twisted to full. It's the knob that sticks through the "glass" over the instrument panel
Check Personalization Features section of owner's manual regarding 360-degree-view monitor; you can adjust:
Setting can be changed so that the top view/front view displayed while the vehicle is moving in the forward direction after reversing is not displayed.
Check owner's manual at page 4-12, determine which type of instrument cluster is in your vehicle, and the info you seek should be in the appropriate section (Type A begins at 4-14, Type B at 4-30, and Type C at 4-46). Good luck.
What finally got me over the finish line was catching a line in one of the various instruction sheets: to wait 5 seconds after performing procedure before starting motor (the other thing I tended to do was lift my foot off the brake too soon). Hope this helps...
Yeah, just found it; starting at p. 6-31. I'll give it a try. (I swear the blade assembly looks as if it should open, especially on an end, but I guess not.)
Thanks, all!
