So I was a proud owner of a 2018 Touring without PP. Great ride in DCBM paint. I added a rack, siderails, subwoofer, remote start, chrome handles, LED, and CarPlay. 6 months into owning it, it was totaled. Now I needed to buy a new car so I went right back to my Mazda dealer and checked out...

How did you remove the trim?

I think you need to remove the trim on the bottom. Any instructions on that?

Does anyone have instructions? I ordered a set and im not sure what to do. Do I drill? Cut away the plastic?

I have to say that the baseline X1 s28i is around 31K and the Maxed out CX-5(AWD) is around 31K. If you can live without all those neat(and somewhat useless) accouterments then you could easily do the BMW. I would think the Mazda would be cheaper to maintain though, no? Also the CX-5...

I would jump all over this but it is just a matter of another year or two before the diesel becomes and option and of course the much awaited MAZDASPEED model...

My northern NJ dealers wouldnt admit to knowing anything about those 2014's. Edmunds has a predicted arrival date listed at mid-2013 for arrival. Also the Ramsey dealer told me that even after they announce the cars release date, it will take roughly 3 months for them to go on sale after that...
