I just picked up a set of Mazda 6 rims/tires and Im wondering if they will fit on my protege. I know the bolt pattern is the same, but will the tire fit without rubbing issues? Tires are 215/60R17's

There is some green crap built up on the terminal under the driver seat, I wonder if that could be causing anything. Im going to wire brush it off and see if that reduces the noise at all.

Yea turns out it is the radio, I turned the volume all the way down and shut it off and no more whistle. I am running a pretty big system in it, but I didnt wire it lol so I have no idea where I would start. Im decent with wiring audio though if anyone knows where the feedback could be coming from?

Took it to a parts source down the road and both alternators failed the bench test.

How did you test to see if it was the harness? or did you just start throwing parts at it lol because thats what it feels like im doing lol.

I bought a new battery, checked all connections and I tested when it was running and its only getting 11.6 volts. So I ordered another remanufactured alternator in hopes that this one was just a lemon. I will hopefully have it tonight so I can put it in, its been a week without my car :(
