    cold start winter warm up

Sigh, no garage at home, no plug-in at work. My city has had about 30 days of -30C weather this winter season. It's surprising the number of people who don't cover their grill on their vehicles.

    CX-5 Vibration at certain speeds

Have you checked the tire pressure? Also OEM tires aren't the best.

    FWD or AWD?

Regardless of FWD or AWD, snow tires should always be bought in sets of 4. OP, until you've passed the break-in period, your fuel mileage will look poor.

    cold start winter warm up

I don't know where you live, but if I did that, the engine in my vehicle would physically vibrate until it warmed up while driving. For instance the windchill this morning was -38C, -30C in the afternoon. I cannot plug in my vehicle at work, so I have to let it warm up for at least 5 minutes...

    Jack stands.

This is the correct method, remember the jack stand is supposed to carry the load, not the jack.

    cold start winter warm up

In my area, we've had average temps of -20C dipping down with wind chills of -40C. my 2.0L 2013 CX-5 takes a while (say 5 to 10 minutes) to idle down, better if its been plugged in for at least 4 hours (and I do have my grill covered). DO the newer 2.5L versions warm up faster? The colder it...

Does putting 17" rims on regularly 19"-rimmed Canadian CX-5 GT

Ride is excellent, my 2013 GT has 17" wheels and studded nokian tires (Hakkapeliitta 7's) so I can drive as aggresively as I want. $1500 is about right with alloy wheels and the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2's at Kal Tire.

What is your PSI for CX-5 Touring 17" rims?

34 PSI as per the manual.

    No Spare wheel

An actual dummy tire top speed 80km/h, would advise against using it for towing.

    No Spare wheel

My Canadian manual has same spare tire specs as listed by CX-SV, specs in Europe might be different. A full size tire on a wheel will not fit under the tire cover panel.

    CX-5 Fuel economy

I'm averaging 25 UK mpg, which is double from my old car city driving, average speed is something like 30 km/h. Its cold, were idling lots. so i'm not too surprised.

    CX 5 GS Snow Handling

So far I have no issues with studded winter tires on icy/snowy conditions city driving. No off-roading yet, I'm curious how it will perform. I could go through deep snow in my '97 legacy outback though, but different AWD system so who knows what will happen...

    Show me your CX-5 wheels

Its been nearly a month I've had them installed, at first the noise was unbearable, like a howling noise @ 60km/h. This is the first time I've run with studded tires, but with more snow on the ground and the tires more broken in I love them. The noise from the studs is quieter and the traction...
