Thread is kind of old but I fixed a chirping noise on my Mazda 2 by adding washers to the rear heat shield plate. I had clunking noises and noticed that the rear heat shield was starting to fall off. I reattached it with by adding big washers to the 3 front bolts. The clunking went away but now...

Know the thread is old, but tried to add rear speakers to my 2012 GX, but there was no harnesses inside the doors... In another forum, someone suggested the wires may stop at the the white plug in the door, but I couldn't see any. The dummy-speakers are still there.
