i believe that i have the same issue, i have recharged the ac twice and it stays cool for a week. im told that the smell of band aids is the freon, which my car smells like. i really need ac here in florida but i fear the repair cost for this.

hi, got an 09 with 180k. just started to notice that the car doesnt start sometimes when turning the key. new battery and it happens with the remote or the key. just wondered if anyone else had this issue. was going to remove and replace the switch while home for the holidays. tony

anyone done plugs and wires? has anyone replaced their remote? i lost one and just down to one now and bought what i thought would work as a replacement but didnt. nice to see others with high miles. anyone over 200? i plan on keeping it until it dies thanks tony

My water pump died at 80k. Lucky for me that it never overheated. 2400ish for a replacement.

hi all. i have an 09 cx9 with a 170k miles on it. so far the only problem that i have had was a water pump break at 80k. cv joints are a little noisy and window motors died and ac just started to blow hot because i think that i have a leak in the fan box area. but in all, nothing else has let...

mine is leaking now and was told 2300 from mazda to fix. they did not say they have to pull the engine, just drop the cross member and raise the motor out a little to make it a bit easier. they say only one day to repair so i dont think the motor comes out.

my pass window stopped working with the auto up feature. when i try to do the reset, once the window is up, you hear the gears clicking/grinding. i dont know if thats the regulator or the switch itself? anyone got an idea? thanks

yep, can only lock from the outside with the remote or the button on the outside of the door. i thought that was really wierd. my grand vitara does the same thing if the remote is inside the car but otherwise the locks work. that is just dumb that its that way. thanks for the reply

hello all. new owner of 09 lux model. for some reason we can only lock the car with the remote. the doors will not stay locked from the door or even pushing the door lock itself. it always kicks back. we only have one remote right now. im looking for answers.
