I'm calling a bum tire.
I've had el-cheapo tires to weird things like that. Rims are good...shop balanced them...still a vibration that won't go away until you get new tires.
California is yearly.
Oh but they CAN! They will insist that you to turn them on and if you refuse, they will simply tell you to go elsewhere. (Effectively enforcing a nonexistent law).

That depends. The wording in the statutes is all different in each state and it can be interpreted in various ways.
In NC, the headlights must be in "proper working order". Is the DRL is part of...
"My opinion, it's not a defect," Lewis told Strickland
:)
I am sure Ford begs to disagree.
I still think it's not a head gasket. Too much coolant in the oil.
You say it's still running? I would just replace what's wrong and roll the dice to see how far she'll go. That all depends...
Definitely an electrical issue.
To me, when you get a complete loss of power, that reeks of bad battery cables and a battery cable ground.
I'm guessing why the ECU won't read is because it has...
Yeah, if this is a Ford design...that weep hole is definitely an early failure indicator.
I wonder if you could get a wheel spacer for the spare just to get by on the front.
Thanks for posting back the result. So many people don't.
Good to hear you got it working.
Is this one of those engines like the CX-9 where the water pump, upon failure, promptly dumps coolant into the engine?
Aren't all fuses running 12v in a car?
A fuse running a non-12v circuit would be new to me....but knowing modern cars anything seems possible now.
FYI: AC will always be on if you have the HVAC set on defrost...regardless of your AC setting...it's a standard feature. But it's probably the Torque Converter like suggested.
If the circuit is blowing fuses and all the devices attached to the circuit check out. Then it's the wiring harness. A wire got partially melted and is shorting.
Oh, and you need to dump this...
I looked it up...yep pressurized to 20 psi. Unbelievable. Thanks Chevy for making it hard to add coolant.
If it is AC related, it sounds like your AC clutch is going out. They make a stinky plastic smell right before they go into free wheeling mode...or lock up and burn up your AC belt.
If it's bad...
Toyota is funny. They sell you hard on their super quality and reliability, and then after you agree to a purchase, they try and tell you that the car could blow up and you need their extended...
I would check the battery cables. Look them over REALLY GOOD. Twist/bend them a bit and make sure they aren't corroded internally. Cables can totally look fine but be rotten inside. Although I...
Little to None? I think Toyota injects some gas into the air stream with their DI design. I think Ford too? This is because a true DI setup becomes a time bomb.
Anything in the gas won't help the valves on a DI engine. You need something injected into the air flow. Or block anything allowing carbon like stopping recirculating gases.
Any resolution?
yes. Depends on if your negative wire simply bolts somewhere are is part of the main wiring harness. Most times it will be part of a wiring harness.
Assuming you need to do a splice:

Thanks for the resolution. All your points seem logical.
I almost only buy OEM. I've been using Mazda Swag dot com for most everything. Cheap and fairly quick. If you supply your VIN they should check fitment for you. I don't know of any site that will...
So that puts with a warranty to 110K miles?
Where do you live? Rust belt states have much higher repair rates.
Regardless. Most cars get to 100k miles with few issues. I would cancel it and...
