Interchangeable Brake Parts between Mazda Models?

:
13' CX-5 and 16' Mazda6 both Touring w/Tech/Bose
Okay so I checked the specs for the 3rd gen Mazda 6 vs the CX-5.

CX-5:
- Front 11.7-inch vented disc
- Rear 11.9-inch solid disc

Mazda6:
- Front 11.7-inch vented disc
- Rear 10.9-inch solid disc

The CX-5's rear brakes are 1-inch bigger than the Mazda6's. Fronts are identical in size. I would like very much to know if I can upgrade a Mazda6's rear to CX-5 rear brakes? Is it that easy or am I missing something here? That extra 1-inch would provide a visual improvement as well as more surface area to improve braking performance.

Additionally the 2016 CX-9's brakes are:
-Front 12.6-inch vented disc
-Rear 12.8-inch solid disc

Man with performance pads, high temp brake oil, and the CX-9's rotors (or aftermarket ones) this could be a more affordable semi-big brake kit solution for CX-5's. Again am I missing something here?
