Mazda3 Battery drainage issue

I've got a possible battery drainage issue, which might have narrowed it down to my motor blower (heater)40A fuse. The fuse it self is really hot with a slight burn mark on the face for the fuse. Is this normal or is it sucking power from the battery. It's been 6 hours since I last drove and didn't use the aircon. Alternator is good and battery is less then a year. Any suggestions would be great.

If the fuse is hot\warm hours after driving...pull it before you burn your car down.

When a fuse blows, do NOT replace it without checking that circuit. Fuses do NOT blow for no reason.

My guess is your heater motor has gone bad and pulling too much current.

You'll need a multimeter to make any sort of diagnosis...or take it to a shop.
