Possible Timing problems 1.6 protg 2000

I have a mazda protege 1.6l that can not accelerate. I have asked some local mechanics and they all point to the timing but the timing marks that are there were lined up perfectly. I'll try to get pictures when I get home but I could get the proper timing marks I would be very appreciative. Thanks

This is for 99-03 1.6's.no its not the fs has a different I E mark line up
