Suspension knock or clunk on Driver's side front 2008 Mazda 5 GT

No, I don't think it happens when under breaking. It happens when driving straight over an uneven bump where the front left wheel hits it and the right front doesn't.

Suspension knock or clunk on Driver's side front 2008 Mazda 5 GT

After all this time, my problem in my original post has come back. It was gone for a good while, and I was hoping that was that. But of course, as soon as the car is out of warranty, the knock/clunk in the front drivers side suspension area is back with a vengeance. You can actually feel it...

Suspension knock or clunk on Driver's side front 2008 Mazda 5 GT

The past couple of days I've noticed a clunk or knock on the driver's side front that sounds like it is coming from the suspension on my 2008 Mazda 5 GT. I did a search and didn't find much info here on it. I'll just take it in to the dealer as it is still under warranty, but does anyone have...

Power steering failure on Mazda5 (TSB: 06-002/09)

Well, it took almost 7 weeks, but I finally got my Mazda5 back from the dealer! Now that they finally have this TSB released they may have parts for people a bit quicker now. It's good that it actually got in there, as the technician also found that the transmission pan was leaking a little...

Power steering failure on Mazda5 (TSB: 06-002/09)

That seems a bit extreme to me. I'm really not happy with Mazda over all of this, but I really like my Mazda5 GT. If this is the only major problem over the lifetime of the car, I can live with it. It is being taken care of at no cost to me, and they did give me another Mazda5 as a rental at...

Power steering failure on Mazda5 (TSB: 06-002/09)

I would just like to update that my Mazda5 has been sitting at the dealership for 5 weeks now, and they still have no realistic idea when to expect the parts.

Power steering failure on Mazda5 (TSB: 06-002/09)

Power steering failure on Mazda5 This thread is just an FYI. About three weeks ago, the power steering over heated twice in the same day. Both times it was able to reset itself after it cooled down, but I immediately called the dealer and they told me to bring it right in. Apparently there...

Hesitation when accelerating from a stand still

I actually don't have the P5 anymore, but I did figure out the problem when I had it. It turns out one of the spark plug cables was loose and making a poor connection. I secured it an the problem went away. Simple solution for a very annoying problem.

2006+ Mazda5 Maintenance Tasks: Do It Yourself

I got the adjustable one to do the first oil change, but it wasn't as easy as an appropriately sized filter wrench would be.

So is the mazda filter wrench (part# AKS75140) specified in the OP the right tool for the job or not? (uhm)

2006+ Mazda5 Maintenance Tasks: Do It Yourself

Just did the very first oil change on my 2008 Mazda5 GT, and it was remarkably easy thanks to this thread!!! I'm used to doing my own oil changes on all my cars past and present, but if it wasn't for this thread I would have been left with some questions not easily answered. Thanks again!
