I have a new 2014 CX-5 Touring with tech package. It seems like all it have re security is an engine immobilizer with no alarm system. The owners manual says an alarm is in certain CX-5 models, but doesn't elaborate. The dealer doesn't know and insists I have an alarm. The window sticker...

Updating Nav. system 1 Is it true that after your one free update that they cost $200 each? 2 Is there any cheaper way to do this? 3 Is the free update supposed to be done within 90 days of purchase. 4 I have a car on order, was wondering how up to date the maps are when delivered new.

Has anyone added rubber horizontal protective molding to the doors to keep from getting door dings? If so any pics? I'd like to do it but with the sculptured doors I don't see how to do it and have it look good.

What lights are the DRLs if you have the HID option?

Are the Daytime Running Lights the low beam headlights if you have the HID option, if so I assume the cost of replacing the HID lamps more often would become a factor?
