    Our official dealers don't want to clean or repair PTU (because "this part is not serviced") - they can only replace for new one after failure. And costs for they work is much higher than in my favorite service. But is not bigger as in NY.

    You need to remove 4 nuts and bolts of propeller shaft, 2 side mount (4 bolt), and two nut from rear bushings(mounts). I have change it one year ago

    I have tryed to clean all injection system with "Wynns", and use 95 octane (same as 89 in USA). But it still making pinging noise on cold.

    it was the right axle of another man from the ru forum. I have 69k miles on my 08 AWD GT and my transfer case still working good but whining at low speed. I have changing the TC oil every ~6К (first time it was at ~27к, beacause first owner have a some leak of TC and changed oil seal there)...

    it' directly not lifters. Lifters(or something like that) i can hear on cold start from top of engine at first 5min.

    I was cleaning the injection and throttle body on 55k. This is recommended first time at 40к, and every 20k later (in the Russia, but not official dealer). After this service, I do not see any difference.

    I have some "ticking" too. I hear it when I sit at the front passenger wheel. Sometimes i hear hissing noise or something like that. May be it's a chain playing... It's started in last winter at 56K miles (I replaced the spark plugs at 49K with Motocraft SP-411 made in Mexico). GT2008 AWD

    No, 250USD is a only work price. (U send him broken part, they are rebuild it and send it back). Some people sell already rebuilded part or part from crashed car - price in the Russia around 500-800 USD. Part from transfer case also can be rebuilded with another 250USD, but buying new transfer...

    Some people can rebuild the broken parts with loyal price. But only in the Russia. Works to rebuild part in a red circle - around 250USD.
