    Brand new CX-5 oil leak

(hand) Good luck buying any car in existence. Consider yourself lucky they warrantied it and took care of you. Most dealers clean off oil leaks in hopes you don't return. Just because you had a oil leak and engine replacement doesn't immediately deem the car unreliable. Stick to your routine...

    2.5L Oil level fluctuation

You all do realize that oil will change in volume with temperature. 1/4" on the dipstick is like less then 1/4 of a quart. I think your nuts if you believe that's going to cause engine damage. Send in an oil analysis and blow your fuel dilution theory away. This isn't a 6.4 Ford here. Cold...

Fuel Injection cleaning @ 38K miles worth it?

I did terra clean fuel injector and combustion cleaner service @ 50k. Car runs much smoother, less boggy in 6th gear, better throttle response and reclaimed 1mpg per IPC data. Just make sure the service is actually performed because I've seen techs throw the cleaner in they're box/trash and...

    Skyactiv Remote Turbo Build

A bad weld is a bad weld, Whether its TIG, GMAW, or SMAW and cold joint will not have proper strength, no to mention pin holes. I've been welding since 2002. Add it there continuous heat cycles, which stresses metal greatly. (think of how much Vibration is constantly happening while driving...

    Skyactiv Remote Turbo Build

Im sorry but those welds are terrible, you need to invest in a proper welder and spend time with someone who knows how to weld. You should be pushing a nice puddle with solid penetration. Those welds are cold as hell and are likely going to break. Might as well take off your welded components...

CX 5 has oil leak from timing chain area. Dealer calls it road grime. NOT Joking.

NO. Have the dealer clean it off. Get proper documentation stating there is a leak.

Installed LED fog bezel and LED switchback in 2016 CX-5

Osram nightbreaker. Highly recommend them. I put DDM hids in the low beams but thec projector still scatters light. Led bulb options also make dark spots. Halogen bulbs or a true retrofit is the only safe and practical resolution.

Small Oil leak for me too... :-(

Crankshaft is keyed versus older 2.3 engines with no crankshaft key. Basically if you take off the harmonic balancer you can loose timing. However if it's keyed it will not require the engine to be re-timed.

    Lowering options for 2016 CX-5

KSport coilovers, or Ksport airbags, D2 coilovers, D2 airbags, or BC coilovers. H&R springs, Corksport Springs. That's about it in the US that you can readily order right now.

Small Oil leak for me too... :-(

They won't simply replace components because you ask them to, there needs to be an actual failure. In the case of a fluid leak...it needs to be be exactly that a LEAK, NOT seepage. I would assume he is talking about the FRONT crankshaft seal as well here. Since the timing cover will be removed...

    Alignment with H&R sport springs

Post your alignment before and after sheet. If your front strut mounting tabs were not slotted then those bolts are smaller diameter then the factory bolts and are at a much higher risk of breaking off since the only way to allow the strut-to-knuckle camber angle to change is with a smaller bolt...
