Test drove a '19 GT-R and Signature today

I think it's funny that these cars are readily available at dealers now, I took our car in for an oil change and was able to drive a GTR...yet there have been no official write-ups in the mainstream automotive press and there are only a few videos on YouTube. I figured given that most cars in...

H&R Lowering Springs - Before and After Pics

KennyC - that looks great. Stock 2nd gen is too high and looks goofy in my opinion. The mild drop looks perfect, like it came that way factory. Now, do I just go for it, or see if Mazda is really making the 2.5T optional next year...

    2019 CX-5 getting 2.5 Turbo engine??

I really hope this happens. I'd like to trade our 17 in for a turbo version but wife probably won't want to deal with the hassle and $ hit. We love ours as an appliance, and I've driven it some in heavy snow and the dynamics are actually pretty fun. Had a turbo Forester XT long ago which was...

    Lowing Springs for 2017 CX-5?

Here's the H&R option. May give these a try on my wife's car. Just seems a bit too tall stock. https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?make=H%26R&model=Sport+Spring+Set&group=Sport+Spring+Set&partNum=28875.3&autoMake=Mazda&autoModel=CX-5+AWD&autoYear=2017&autoModClar=Grand+Touring

2017 GT AWD winter wheel/tire combo

Didn't see that option as I was just shopping the car category, not the light truck/suv category. This thing is just a lifted wagon anyways.

2017 GT AWD winter wheel/tire combo

Got them on. Used the TPMS from tire rack, reset fine. Car could use a mild drop but no springs available for now.

    2018 Mazda6 to get 2.5T motor

Why can't they just put the 2.5T in the CX5?!? I definitely would have bought this. The Forester XT is a clunky vehicle and I don't love CVTs, but at least it can get out of its own way. The CX5 is already quite nice for the segment in terms of interior and exterior styling. Adding more...

2017 GT AWD winter wheel/tire combo

I'll probably just get a second set of TPMS installed to avoid hassles. I'm sure the car would do okay with all seasons but it only takes one incident and deductible for bodywork to make the snow set worth it. Wife will feel more comfortable having as much help as possible in severe conditions.

2017 GT AWD winter wheel/tire combo

Hey all, Recently traded our 2012 Mazda3 in for a 2017 CX-5 GT AWD. It's my wife's car and I want to get a set of snows for winter. We live in Milwaukee so this is somewhat overkill but better grip in winter can't hurt. We just ran Conti DWS on the Mazda3 and had occasional dicey situations...
