    Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Back from a road trip with the 2018 CX-9 with the ACP install, overall happy and I think $140 + time well spent to upgrade from using an iPhone with a stand. No install issues, and I just use Waze and Spotify so that's what my feedback is based on. Overall, both Waze and Spotify generally work...

    Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

I did not, nor did I see anywhere saying to disconnect, except for a vague thing in the printed insteuctions (no mention, but their #1 on the picture refers to negative battery terminal).

    Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Got the parts on eBay for $140 shipped (when they had 10% coupon), installed today on my 2018 CX-9 GT, took ~3h and only because I was futzing around with looking up stuff while doing it. It was minimally difficult, but you can do some cosmetic damage if not careful - the forum and instructions...

Just Bought a 2017 GT AWD - Love it but why such bad gas mileage?

Buzzman12 and HobokenSkier, thanks for you replies! I had read similar things that the break in of old isnt needed anymore, though on some level that still feels weird, so I am definitely not pushing as hard as I would normally. I will try to do some more sanguine driving and see if that makes...

Just Bought a 2017 GT AWD - Love it but why such bad gas mileage?

Definitely more city, not highway. I live in Northern VA and traffic is heavy even on highways so its mostly a stop and go driving. To others points, I am not abusing the car and constantly redilining or flooring the pedal. I have still floored the gas a few times but thats not it - I drove a...

Just Bought a 2017 GT AWD - Love it but why such bad gas mileage?

2018 GT here, and just breaking it in at around 400 miles. I am definitely heavy footed as I like the acceleration and have been driving only local - that said, gas mileage is horrific at 11-12mpg from the on board computer! Thats pretty ridiculous and way worse than my 3.6L v6 2009 Mazda 6...

    2018 Mazda CX 9 Pricing

Karthik, I see you already bought yours - congrats! I think you got a great deal on the Red... My Gray 2018 GT was $40k OTD if paid in full, I did 60mo 0%, so that was $41k and change. In my area (Northern VA), they didnt even have any Reds, so I really liked the Red but didnt even try for it...

    2018 Mazda CX 9 Pricing

Just today, got the Gray GT AWD for 37.6k after 2k cash rebates and 0.5k owner loyalty rebate, which was exactly 40k out-the-door. Ultimately opted for the 0% financing for 63 months and gave up 1k of the cash rebate for it. Thought it was a great deal!

2018 CX-9 Touring Premium vs GT?

Bargained down to 40k OTD price on the Gray GT! That was around 37.5k price and almost 15% off MSRP. I did ultimately opt for the 0% financing for 63 months and gave up 1k cash rebate but pretty happy!

2018 CX-9 Touring Premium vs GT?

Its weird but I dont like the signature because of the leather color... if they had it in black leather, Id consider it. But to your point, the GT gets the bigger wheels, trim etc, so the extra from the signature is primarily the leather and wood. Just waiting for quotes on the GT at this...

2018 CX-9 Touring Premium vs GT?

The wheels were my main reason haha, yeah, going with the GT... It's interesting you speak of the cheap looking grey plastic - I was at the dealer lot today and was debating between the Red and Gray GT... the Red was actually really nice, I think I liked it best even though I'm not a red car...

2018 CX-9 Touring Premium vs GT?

Thanks for all the replies! I also like the look of the 20 wheels way better and that was my primary motivation, shot down by DW, but the HUD did seem useful and the adaptive headlights were pretty nice. The rest of the add-ons are not super useful or valuable to me. I am leaning towards...

2018 CX-9 Touring Premium vs GT?

Long time reader, first post. Family is growing so moving up to 2018 CX-9 and need some advice. The Touring w/ Premium Package is quite tempting, ends up ~$3.5k less than the GT for foregoing the following: 20 wheels, HUD, adaptive headlights, heated 2nd row seats and steering wheel, driver...
