I took it to the dealer today. They just called and said they scanned it and there was a steering wheel position sensor code. They called Mazda tech help and they told them to clear the code and test drive it. They test drove it for 18 miles and apparently it's fine now. I don't understand how...
This happened to me on my 2013 cx5 Touring at 4,000 miles AND AGAIN TODAY AT 21,000 miles. I'm so flipping mad. I hate this stupid car.
The traction control and flat tire lights came on and it wouldn't switch gears. So I had to drive 20 mph. Then I pulled over, turned it off, and restarted it...
This same exact thing happened to me with about 4,000 miles. They reset the transmission and drove it 50 miles. I'm now at 8900 miles and haven't had any repeat problems.
I've had my car 6 months and I haven't gotten used to it. In my opinion it's a major safety issue and if this is "normal" then I need to find cars that have regular headlights. Thank goodness I did a 3 year lease so I can get rid of this car. Too many little annoyances. It looks nice, but that's...
Is anyone else having issues with the headlights on low beams not giving a good range of light? It's like there's a distinct cutoff on the area illuminated. It makes it dangerous on windy roads or when going downhill and only having 10 feet of light. When the high beams are on, it's not an...
Thanks, I will. I noticed on their copy of the service record, there were about 20 pages stapled together. I only got the receipt/service summary copy. I'll give them a call and ask for the codes.
I just got my car back. They had to reset the programming for the transmission and drive it 50 miles to make sure there were no more warnings.
The paperwork says "scanned vehicle-3 fault codes. Called tech line. Ran self test for transmission and passed. Deleted fault codes and had vehicle...
Sounds like a similar issue my car just had yesterday. See my post "warning lights and 4,000 miles." I had 4 warning lights but 3 are the same as yours. I'm still waiting on the dealer to tell me what's wrong.
My husband just talked to the dealership. Apparently they called Mazda corporate (or whatever) and they had to reset the computer for the transmission. They then need to run it for a certain amount of miles to see if it's fixed. They said they'd have it all day tomorrow too.
