now im looking for a 2009 corolla S... which i can purchase without needing to finance. I've been shopping around the last few weeks, i don't see myself paying more than $12-13k. I was paying $120 a month on the speed3 for insurance, no way in hell ill be paying more than that with a corolla...
LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! I agree. Good thing i didn't buy mine from a dealership. I'm only asking 2k less than what i payed for it and i already have a buyer. So I basically i only lost 2k in the 28 months of me owning my ms3... idk i think i'm coming out on top (dance)
lol i totally forgot to checkup on this thread...
i bought the star specs when i had no intentions on getting rid of the car.
Well i live in dallas and our roads get pretty warm during the summer which helps contribute to my faster wearing.... our highways are littered with shredded tires...
ummm... i do mostly city driving and never WOT it. i've been running dunlop star specs for the last two sets and have never gotten more than 12k outta them, i drive in such a manner not to wear my tires too quickly. The originals only lasted me less than 16k miles and their grip was below par...
Hey fellas, I'm having to part with my precious ms3 ='( , it was amazingly fun for the nearly three years i had it but paying nearly 1k every ~10 months on tires and and getting ~20 mpg is starting to hurt my wallet. I'm gonna be moving to a boring <2.0 litre inline 4 car cause my family is...
ummm yeah, i generally don't street race... this happens to me maybe once every 3 months.... if even that. I don't go looking for it.

I was driving home tonight from school and some d-bags in a 3.5 litre maxima (considerably modded from the sound of it) wanted to race, I though nothing of it and was gonna ignore them but that still small voice inside told me to do it. We both accelerated in first gear normally but he initiated...
Just curious... for anyone who voided their warranty and got a turbo swapped?, how much did it cost you to have mazda replace your turbo+labor?
Someone should start a thread surveying how many ppl have had bad turbos!
the lowest was 32 psi... i filled them all between 34-35 and the pressure light went off.... that's so stupid!.. i could have sworn i've have pressure below 32 and the sensor didn't go off.
Tonight i was meeting up with some friends of mine in a sketchy part of town and was forced to traverse through some quite uneven roads.... At one point before arriving at my destination i quickly turned down a street which had a drop-off and hit my lower end pretty hard... less than 60 seconds...
