2012 AT TC lights w/ hard bump, subsequent AT failure

As someone who also did this on their 09 this summer, the one thing that I thought made it easier were ratcheting wrenches. Not a big deal if you don't have them though.

    P0841 Code on 2008 Auto Mazda5

Just to re-affirm, P0841 is for the Pressure Control Switch, not the Solenoid. You do not need to drop the pan to replace the switch, but ATX fluid will come out when replacing it. I would consider draining out the fluid from the bottom of the pan first, then inspect/replace the switch...

    P0753 Shift Solenoid A Electrical

133,000 miles. Was driving about 40MPH and all of a sudden it felt like I hit something. CEL and AT lights came on. Pulled over, pulled up Torque. Gave me P0753 I've seen a few others on here post about various electrical transmission codes. As they have said before, these codes are...

2008 Mazda5 Transmission Control Module Replacement *Experience*

Bumping this The part you listed is for the 2012-2015 models. I would wonder if something is programmed differently because they have a larger engine? https://www.mazdapartswebstore.com/p/Mazda__/Automatic-Transmission-Control-Module-TRANS-CONTROLLER/48741329/L5E4189E1E.html

A Few Fixes to the MZ5, Hope this will help fix the Gremlins!

It's possible this could be self-promotion (for Moog maybe?) because this same thread was posted with the same title and info here but in 2 different forum categories. I've been checking this out because I don't know when my sway bar bushings were replaced and I'm starting to hear a clunk that...

    Noises from left rear

Just a follow up, it was the nut on the top of the shock's piston that had come loose. You can remove the rear cup holder for access but the 12mm nut that came with the KYB shocks doesn't seem to fit any of the specialty tools out there

    Noises from left rear

First noise I can only hear it at lower speeds. Very noticeable around 10-20 MPH. Like a rubbing of some sort Second one is a ting when going over bumps. I can hear it when I press on the bumper on that side I replaced my rear shocks a couple months ago for reference When digging around, I...

    First Check Engine light! P2243

A helpful tip someone mentioned was to try and tighten the sensor about 1/8 turn to crack the seal before removing it. Otherwise lots of penetrating oil and let it sit a while. I sheared off the threads of the old one and needed a thread chaser to clean it up

Broke a shock tonite, and need the name of a part (upper shock mount?)

Mine broke this morning. You need a 13mm wrench, 12mm deep socket, breaker bar, ratchet, and vice grips What was not shown above is the nut on top of the strut that holds it in place that is a pain. That is what you need the wrench and vice grips for. The top of the strut is squared off to...

Purchasing new buttons for the keyfob

I'm sure by now the lock, unlock, and alarm logos are rubbing off or have rubbed off on your fobs. Anyone found how to order just the buttons instead of the whole fob piece? Granted they're only $5ish on eBay

    Hitch Questions

From Etrailer.com The problem is when you add more bikes further from the hitch it creates more torque on the hitch Another good answer from Etrailer:

    Hitch Questions

In case anyone is interested, here's a chat I had with Allen Sports about why they don't recommend trunk mount racks for the 5 Say what now? Come again? So I went out to the garage and checked it out. Well doesn't that suck
