Do you know what version of 59 you have? I've found that my 59.00.446 seems to be much slower over the last month I've had my car. Initially it felt much speedier compared to my wife's 2014 3 running older software.

You could try having your local Mazda dealer update your Mazda Connect system. My 2017 CX-5 came with 59.00.446, but there was a newer version of 59 released this past week. It should be 59.00.5XX. It may be worth a shot if this is still happening to you.
