Some cars have a pin on the OBD-II port that is tied to ignition ACC power. Manufacturers can use pins 1, 3, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13, for whatever they want so it's not a standard because some manufactures uses 8 for ACC while others don't.
Planning to do a brake/rotor job. Hopefully someone can give me a little guidance as I came up short in my searches. Hopefully this will be a helpful guide for future DIYers with a 2016.5 CX5.
1) Is 2016.5 still considered a gen 1?
2) Are these the right part #s?

What year CX5 do you have? I have a 2016.5 and the basspro doesn't fit. It sticks out above the spare tire too much, preventing the trunk floor laying flat. Did you have to use something to lift the trunk floor a little?
I get confused from all of the different threads regrading this topic. Can someone just tell me where/how to tap into the bose system to get the highest audio quality going to the sub? Is it even possible to get original signal from the head unit without a cutoff frequency?
Thank you in advance.
Do you have anymore information about how to do this? I have a 2016.5 with bose and I'm not sure what I'll need (eg. cables) besides the subwoofer itself. TIA
I didn't get around to installing the light bar yet. I was just going to get a 16"/20" led light bar mounted on the intercooler spot like previous members here have done. I just finished swapping out the stock fog lights for some morimoto though and it does help.
Does anyone know how to find the "high beam wire" behind the steering column or where I can find a wiring diagram for this for 2016.5 CX5? Trying to tap into that wire so I can attach a relay (single pole double throw) for a light bar. End result would be light bar turning on automatically...
