Nice write up. I have a 2012 CX-9 and switched to Synthetic at the 1 year mark after a oil change every 3 months. Now I will change the oil every 6 months 7500 miles. In my case, it will be 6 months since I only put on about 10,000 a year.

Chances are a repair was made to the car at the depot or at the dealer before you got it. It should be repaired for free. call Corporate and email them some digital pictures.
No doubt you get a firmer ride on the 20" wheels, but compared to a Jeep SRT I had with 20" RFT's, it is like riding on a cloud. I like the ride of my 2011 GT
I agree, Techron is theb est. I buy them at COSTCO for around $15 for 6 bottles. I throw one in ever 3 months. Have never had a problem. Also, try to use a top tier gas.
From Chicago and will always have AWD. Now if I lived in Phoenix, would not need it, but if I drove up to Flagstaff in the winter I would. Then again, I am old and learned to drie RWD in the snow and ice.
I have an 11 GT, and even though I did not need to, I changed the oil at 1.000 miles and on the next change, will switch over to a full synthetic and will change it every 6 months or 7500 miles.
Our BMW calls for an oil change every year or around 15.000 miles.
