Garbage in , garbage out. The system sounds good with a good source. I use high bit rate AAC files or CD's much of the time. XM sounds OK. Radio, not so much. Bluetooth, about the same.
I have a 2016 with sport mode and I don't see the point unless you only have one arm. If I want to drive it "sporty" mode, I just shift it manually. Sport mode might be useful for autocrossing if you have only one arm or are afraid to take a hand off of the wheel. Other than that, I don't...
During rush hour, traffic is heavy. Sometimes there is a wreck on the freeway and you get stuck in a traffic jam. I never expected my nav system to be prescient. I don't believe that the data would be that reliable even if it did work. I have a $600 nav system on my bike. It's not...
When I tried this the engine was fully warmed up. I had driven 35 miles of my 50 mile commute. Stopped at a red light. Waited 30 seconds or so and then put the selector in N. I could feel the drivetrain unload. It was definitely not in neutral until I put it in. How long is this supposed...
I thought this sounded odd. I just tested this and my car is definitely still in gear when stopped with the brakes on. I put it in neutral and back to D and you can feel the change.
Just buy the damn thing and enjoy it. Nothing in your life will change if you don't get the best deal in the history of Mazda on your car. A few hundred dollars amortized over the life of a car is nothing.
'Just because they lowered the car doesn't mean the cornering is automatically better.'
Just because you lowered the car doesn't mean the cornering is automatically better either
" Did they get an alignment? did they check oem sway bar angles after lowering (if equipped)'
"Sway bars" or...
I was thinking about a Top Gear episode where they took modestly powered sporty hatchbacks and did the usual mods. Lowered suspension, low profile tires, hi-flow intake, catback exhaust. They did before and after lap times and they all went slower after the mods. Lowered suspension makes it...
With all due respect, talk is cheap. I have seen car magazines test tuner cars that didn't have near the performance the tuners were claiming. Even a 0-60 or 50 to 80 time before and after would say something. Higher performance throughout the powerband should be measurable or it isn't there...
Got any actual dyno runs or timed acceleration runs to back that up? Lot's of aftermarket mod's make more noise but fail to deliver on advertised performance gains. As far as suspension, my CX-5 rides exactly stiff enough. Lower/stiffer would make it unpleasant to drive on New England roads...
I just finished driving my CX-5 50 miles in snow. Not deep, just enough to slick up the road. It's been a light winter so far. I was fairly impressed. I expected the 4wd system to work well but I was unsure about the Pirelli Scorpion winter tires I put on it. They don't tout the magic ice...
