Don't know if it's changed, but I have the remote start on my 2013 and the normal fob doesn't need to be in the car. I have a separate OEM remote start fob that is used to start the car. Seems odd to need to have the fob in the car - kinda defeats the purpose of having a remote starter it...
Depends on how handy you are. My car has over 70,000 miles and has never been to the dealer or any other service place. I do it all myself and I'm up to date on all maintenance requirements. Nothing HAS to be done at the dealer.
This makes NO sense to me. Mazda is a small car manufacturer? They are not Toyota or Honda, but hardly SMALL. You mention a few anecdotal reports of problems and seem to conclude that those mean something? 1 - people are MUCH more likely to complain rather than compliment. 2 - EVERY...
DO NOT talk about payments - monthly, bi-weekly, or otherwise. Agree on a final total price. That's all that matters. Salesmen will talk payment terms to confuse you, but the ONLY number that matters is the actual sales price. And you need to arrange your own financing outside of the dealer...
Have you tried taking it to a car wash - the self-service kind where you spray the car - or just at home spraying the car with water to try to find the leak? If nothing else, if either of these do result in water on the floor, you can go to the dealer and ask them to do the same. If water ends...
Such bitterness is just sad for you. Why did you buy the car if you hate it and the company that made it? Seems like a smart move would have been to buy something that you would not hate so much. Makes no sense to me...complaining so much about a decision you made.
If you're sure that all 4 pressures are OK, just reset the TPMS light and see if it comes back. This has happened to me a couple of times on my 2013. After checking to make sure that the pressures are OK, I reset it and it didn't come back. Go figure.
I have one of the early 2013's. It was used by Mazda to promote the car when it was brand new before I bought it from the dealer with about 5K on it. I'm now at 68K and have NEVER had any repairs. I do all of the routine maintenance myself. I love this car!!
Just wanted to say that my 2013 has 68K and has NEVER had a repair. I do all of the routine maintenance myself - all fluids, brakes, plugs, filters, etc. Best car I've ever owned! Mine has been rock solid!
Have you looked in the manual? Surprising how many people never think to refer to the definitive source (not saying that you did or did not). Here in the US the locking system occupies many pages of the manual.
