The Progression of my V.1 Street Sleeper Turbo build

You should get yourself a copy of the contract that the City of Kelowna requires in order to use the Knox Mountain Motor Sport club in addition to whatever waiver you may have signed. Generally, even if unintentional, the responsible party is liable for damages in all circumstances unless they...

Good thing I named the car Tina Turner. Kidding, I'm calling my mechanic tomorrow.

    P-5 Reliability

ARGHHHH GRRR ... Do you think it's more because of corrosion/rust they just chop it off or because it's really just a PITA? I'm considering replacing the front passenger wheel bearing myself (but having a machine shop deal with the damn knuckle). I don't want to open a can of worms.

What have you done to your P5 today?

I'm out of shrink tubing, this is just a temporary fix until the new 14awg wire I ordered arrives. Definitely not keeping the stock wire aka thread.

What have you done to your P5 today?

Installed a pair of Pioneer TS-D6802R speakers in front, perfect fit. Spliced and soldered the wires, didn't have anymore shrink tubing so I just used electrical tape. This was one of those projects I had put off doing all year, thankfully it took me less than an hour.

    problem solved 2002 mazda protege

I'm pretty sure the OP is a troll who is disgruntled about the junker car his brother dumped on him and the "service" he received at that Mazda dealer. His other posts are all pretty much identical over the last year. October 2015 the car had 119k, then 120k when he was given it for free and...

New Mazda owner looking for suggestions

I figured that it was yours since it had faded trim, a I Heart Chippendales bumper sticker and eyelashes on the headlights.

New Mazda owner looking for suggestions

There's a crappy red P5 always at the County building and jail overflow lot (Ocean/Water), has a Mazdaspeed embelm on the rear. If you want an idea of what not to do to your car you should go check it out. I think they park it in the flood zone intentionally, I know I would.

New Mazda owner looking for ideas

Ah another Santa Cruzan. Cheapest and easiest mods to start with in my opinion: Intermittent wiper control stalk from a Mazda MPV or Ford Escape, etc. They're literally plug and play, super easy. Foglight DRL mod. Plastidip the rear valance if the car isn't black, looks great (should have...

Exploded bottle of cola (damn kids) got it out with Armor All Cleaning Wipes, also great for touch ups with coffee spills.

What have you done to your P5 today?

Shredded another alternator belt, ordered parts today. Decided to replace the battery tray components while waiting since I broke a chunk of the plastic battery tray. :/ Found out there was a fair amount of corrosion and decided to replace all the parts from there down. Discovered that...

    2003 Mazda Protege5 Muffler Delete

It's illegal regardless if you are pulled over -- equipment violation. You're driving around giving police a guaranteed pretext to stop you. You also won't pass the visual inspection for smog at any reputable smog check station. If you did this because you like to rev the engine, perhaps at a...
