You will have to either cut them near the seam or hot knife them like they do in Japan I cut mine in order to refit leds into the 06 lights

The rgb kit seems very pricey i did my mazda5 for about $40 for everything

Fixed finally. The cause was a tiny hole in air filter that then made the maf sensor real dirty

I just changed mine with motorcraft sp411

The buttons have a single 5050 smd the top of the dials have an added rgb strip

The far right one is not as bright due to the led You can also use the same type of bulb (t5) for the shift pattern the buttons below the ac knobs and the ignition light if any you attempt this i will upload so pics on how to get it done

I changed my from green to white leds the swap was easy you can order t5 led bulbs from ebay and swap them into the mazda5 sockets
