You really have to test drive both, and if you are a stick lover then I'm betting you will pick the MT. The new shifting technology is actually a sweet feature of this model. Even if you get the color you love, in a year or two you will be over that color but you will still be smiling driving...

I think the XV will handle off road use a bit better, a bit more aerodynamic in the nose and higher chin, and comes equipped with AWD roof rails and bluetooth standard. Oh and those RIMS!!!! Subaru has yet to release pricing on the XV so ??? My CX5 gets better mpg with the MT, I believe it is...

This thread is really depressing me because I paid a "premium" for my CXmt sport, $300 above MSRP! Well, I had done my research and went in there perfectly willing to pay the MSRP since the "true car" market eval was a bit over MSRP. They came out with some ridiculous numbers like nearly $2000...

I'm not at all a fan of the felt like carpeting and the base model seat materials as my dogs hair sticks to everything and shows up against the black. I'd rather have a dark grey seat or something that didn't show every crumb tracked in. Is the carpeting better quality in the touring models...
