Sorry to hear about the rocky start with your P5. I loved mine when I had it and it was rock solid from new, until I sold it/relocated at just over 100k . Good on you for learning to play with the maintenance yourself--the 99 miata i have now is also apparently a good car to learn/wrench on...

Welp, smidge over 18k dollars down, and up a 2001 corvette with only 25k miles, and a 1976 MG project to toy with-(last street driven in 2002). It'll be fun to toy with an old british roadster and see how she compares to the miata once I get her on the road. Have a good one, folks.

Bump, disregarding the carfax, anyone have an opinion on the asking price?

Hey Folks, I was wondering if anyone out there has the means to run a carfax vin for me. Might be pulling the trigger soon on a 2001 corvette. It's not a ZO6 or anything, and unfortunately it's an automatic. It is however, in great shape, and only has a shade over 25000 miles on it...
