Everything I've read so far points to the Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch. Can anyone tell me where that actually is and how to replace it?
The CEL light did not come on, but I checked the fault codes after noticing I got 18mpg's out of a half tank of gas, which was unusually low. I have...
So, I've got a 1000+ miles on it so far and have done the following:
replaced the rear struts (fronts are probably next)
changed the transmission fluid
replaced the battery
did a light cleaning of the throttle body (what I could without removing it) that cleared up the P0101 code
oil change...
Yeah, it's a 2009. Thanks for the info! Yeah, there is some clunkiness coming from the front end, I was worried it was struts.
Is there a way to know what trim level it is? It doesn't have a sun roof or fog lights, so I assume it the base model? Is that the 'Touring' or something?
I know the rear shocks and tires are new. The transmission fluid was pretty dark when I bought it, so I just had that changed, and frankly it still looks pretty dark. Will probably do that again, myself this time.
What kinds of things should I be worried about or on the look out for?
22.31mpg...
Figured out why the headlights in the car pointed directly in front of the bumper instead of somewhere useful on the road.
Answer: Whoever replaced the bulbs didn't use the retaining springs and the bulbs were just loose in there! F#$& the previous owner/their mechanic/whoever did that
