Thank you -- they really do look much better in black. The silver is so garish by comparison, and for a very minimal amount of time and money (1.25 cans, probably on the order of $13) it's a no-brainer.

Do they dim? That is to say, with the filament bulb there's a gradual or rolling illumination for some of these. Do the LEDs support this?

So yeah, you can revert to the physical key method to open the doors, but will it allow you to keep the standard push-to-start (without using the RFID backup mechanism: pressing fob to engine start button)? Plasti Dipped roof rails

Today I Plasti Dipped my roof rails. I didn't want them & won't likely use them, but since they came installed off the boat (and don't feel like spending to replace the trim that was cut to install them) the next best thing was to remove the garish silver.

Would love to hear if that's the case -- really curious
