Your dealer would be happy to see you. They make money on warranty work.
Imagine if you don't fix it under warranty and the problem gets worse. Once your car is out of warranty you would be out of thousands of dollars.
Loaner car is paid by Mazda not the dealer. Mazda will need to approve...
Subaru is trying to showcase their 4WD technology in Vietnam of all places, LOL. Perhaps there are loose ball bearings on the roads? Or hidden slick oil patches?
Any comments on this video? It is a Subaru sponsored event! The CX-5 had trouble although it appeared the XV also struggled for a bit. My previous car is a 2008 Outback. So far I haven't had a real opportunity to compare the Subaru to the CX-5.

You'll be in good hands. The dealer should take it seriously as this is a safety related problem. One time I backed out of a parking stall that is on a slight incline. After I shifted from R to D and with my foot on the gas the car started to roll backwards in neutral! There was new Lexus...
How long was the shift delay going from P/R to D? My problem started with a slight delay and then it got progressively worse. After about two weeks I started seeing other major shifting problems. Just to be on the safe side you might want to bring the car to a dealer. Most likely they will...
The holidays probably delayed the shipment of the new tranny to your dealer. My breakdown happened during Thanksgiving and it took a week for the repair. I was told the actual job takes 1-2 days. I suspect it's not too difficult of a job when done by an experienced tech. Good luck.

Oh My. It must be the same problem as mine. Mine gave out at around the 2,000 mile mark. The good news is that you will enjoy the new tranny. Good luck.

My headlights are too low too. I'm thinking of checking the load sensor by jacking the rear of the car up as opposed to putting weight down. I'm just light to make any difference, haha. Thanks for posting the adjustment screw. I will try that as well.
From my experience only if I give it a lot of gas. If I just shift to D and then take my foot off of the brakes the gear will shift normally albeit with a delay.
I'd take the car to a parking lot and try to see if the problem can be duplicated. In my experience the delay is highly variable although I could always detect some delay. 5-8 seconds is a long delay. I only experienced this long of a delay when I took the car in the second time. By then I...
