Agreed completely, those yellow overlays look nice.

Mine started doing that about 4 years ago, and cleaning helped at first, but it became a progressively terminal issue. I was intimidated by replacing the unit with an aftermarket at first, but it's really not that bad if you're mechanically inclined. I simply purchased an inexpensive cd player...

The only mod was to open the casing, disconnect the extension wires, and hookup the existing harness. You will need to make a new seal where the wires enter the casing if you're concerned about water getting in there. The OEM wires have a grommet, but it's too large.

Thanks for the advice on the Eagle Eyes. The Blinglights arrived today and I took a few pics of my installation. This is the front of the light, a single screw holds the lens in the plastic casing. Once opened, this is how it's wired from the factory.The stock harness clips in to the H3 bulb...
