Thanks ill start there, I cleared the codes and drove the car no cel poped up but it coukd come back.

I dont want to jsut throw parts at the car, I have read it could be egr, but how can i test my EGR to know if its good or bad? Do I have other issues underlying the codes? should I clear the codes and drive it and see if they come back? the CEL came on at low idle blinked for a few seconds then...

So my Protege is giving me these codes. I pulled my spark plugs and they are all white, (spark plug number two from the left of the drivers fender had some oil on the threads but non on the tip of the spark plug) which means its running to hot or igniton issues, car does not over heat, new...

It will still rust from the inside out, silicone traps water, a urethane would have been a better choice. The windshield needs to be pulled and the rust needs to be fixed by a body shop or you following rust repair procedures.

I dont any exhaust noise. Im not a fan of import exhaust.

My mazda is stock, is it worth changing my air intake system to a performance set up? I know the car is slow and its not a race car lol.

Yep another thing the previous owner never fixed. When i do the brakes ill do a complete brake system bleed and replace all the fluid and look for brake lines that need to be replaced.

I understand. i don't have time to do the brakes right now, Ill remove some fluid from the res before i compress the calipers

My Brakes have not been changed yet, but I am getting a new issue. When breaking hard I get my Brake light on in the Dash, I checked the fuild (its very brown, im going to remove the old fluid and put in new fluid) its above the Min line in the reservoir. is this a faulty sensor some where or...

Thaks for the info, i know the pads are worn, so my assumption was correct, worn pads = no e brake lol, will i have to adjust the e brake when I install new pads?

So I know my brakes all the way around are low, when I use my Ebrake I can still move my car some if i dont leave it in gear (manual). Would worn rear pads be the culprit or is something out of adjustment? I can pull my E brake handle all the way up before I have E brakes. I dont see any E brake...
