Thanks for these posts (@all). Just bought a 2009 and have this same issue. Taking it in for some repairs (including this one) next week. Has anyone found a resolution less expensive than replacing the BSM module? That's a lot of loot to stop a blinking light... ;) Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing! I just bought a 2009 and am experiencing the same thing. I'm taking it in for a few repairs on Tuesday and it's super helpful to be able to tell the shop about this. Cheers! :)
