Similar problem for me that turned out to be my air filter. When I changed it, I didn't lock it in completely. The gap was causing rough idle. I reseated it and closed the "lid" which completely fix it. ...Just in case this helps...

Yeah, a bit unreliable when the lighting is poor. It seems dusk type lighting is the worst. I agree about the snow too... When they work, it's pretty sweet. I keep mine on usually.

Does the commander main control selector ring light up? Looks like it might but mine doesn't.

Agreed on the pen. I have one and I have the white cx-5. It really does come out gray and uneven...plus the small pen-end doesn't work at all. Only the brush-end works.

Only using the hack version of AA... It works really well with the exception of phone call handling.

I would factory reset your car's head unit. Wipe it and resetup your phone. Mine stutters on sound if it is set to connect and play when you start the car. The head unit is slow on startup and stutters until all loading is complete. It doesn't take long, but just long enough to bog down if BT...

Just chiming in that I've got a 2016 with about 18k miles that has terrible idle. I'm headed into the shop anyway, so I will have them look at it; but when at a stand still, either at startup or a stop light, I get dips and surges that almost feel like it will stall but it never does. Kind of...

No, I didn't purchase that plan. Findlay said they can/will do all servicing like that, but just not warranty or recalls.
