Has anyone performance chipped a diesel cx5 with an off the shelf chip? Any advice? Im in New Zealand so will be getting one on line. They appear to just plug in. Will I get black smoke? Thanks to any replies. .

im going to try the Michelin Latitude Cross. I Live in Nz, so not much snow where I live, but I will be using it on the ski fields, ive been told this tyre is a good all round tyre.

Hi, ive got the 2.2d as well, in new zealand, i am averaging 7.2l/100km after 7000km. this would be significantly better if it didnt regen all the time.

Yea if you looked at the speakers you would replace them all, i also added some sound deadening to the doors, it was cheap stick on foam,seems pretty effective, but about 80% of the sound comes from the front 2 speakers.

I also didnt want to touch the head unit. I changed out the speakers and noticed a huge improvement, mainly from the two dash speakers, i used JBL 3.5 inch speakers. To be honest i wouldnt bother changing the door speakers.

I got mine off aliexpress. A Chinese site. Very cheap...dealer wanted way too much(new Zealand) . These fitted perfectly and look like factory. Warning tho..its an addictive site. I bought a few things there including sill guards. Mats. Tray liner. Everything arrived as it looked on the site.

Are you're its not the lane departure warning cutting the Sound? I've heard someone on here has had that issue. Otherwise good luck.

Hey there I havnt had mine long but I love it. If u want to do some cheap cosmetic changes aliexpress is a cheap site for things like stainless steel sill guards. Mud flaps. Boot liners etc. The only other thing I did was replace the 2 dash speakers (I didnt get the bose system) with jbl 3.5...
