URGENT HELP! child seat may be a dealbreaker for a '12 speed3

No speed3's within 100 miles, that's why we had to order it in the first place. The wife got a reply from mazda usa that said the rear headrests are removable and adjustable. That information is not in the online owners manual though. The only thing to see now is if the tether makes the...

URGENT HELP! child seat may be a dealbreaker for a '12 speed3

Greetings, My wife loved my 07 speed3 and was quite upset when I traded it in for the evo. We have been car shopping and she has ordered a '12 speed3. Problem is, the baby seat. Has anyone here put in a forward facing child seat in their speed3? She's been doing research online and has...

Too much boost! help with mbc install

I used wire taps and insulated them from the environment. Just squeezed onto the correct wires and insulated. No cutting.

Too much boost! help with mbc install

I'm not running an upgraded pump. I've logged my fuel pressures and afr's with no problems. I'm not even getting the 'sputter' problem that I've read about.

    mechanics of boost control ..

I was on the highway today and paid attention to my boost gauge. at 75 mph I was running 10 to 12 inches of vacuum. as I said before, your rpm's are high enough to spool the turbo as soon as you hit the gas. In fact, a hill or bridge will put you slightly into the positive in cruise control...

    mechanics of boost control ..

North of 70 mph, the only way to boost is to press the gas pedal. at cruising speeds you are at the very least 15 inches of vacuum. Get a cheap boost gauge to monitor this, or buy a dash hawk. Boost is a function of load and throttle. When cruising at a constant speed, the ecu is in closed...

Too much boost! help with mbc install

I would really like to know if there is any negative effects from installing a boost controller like this. If there is none, it is a much easier way to do it. Any boost gurus have an opinion? This is my first boosted car and I'm building a stupid fast boosted honda, so I'm trying to absorb as...

Too much boost! help with mbc install

that's exactly what I did. For some reason, the mbc I have would steadily creep. Works perfect where it is now, and I can inspect the hoses periodically without getting under the car

Quick and easy Boost controller install

my controller told me to put it in the same place. I just puzzled out how the factory works, and went from there. Some actuators only have a single inlet, which you are emulating by capping it off. This setup is functionally the same as the stock system. The two vents pass straight through...

    Brazil?

I'll be living in Macae, little oil town. I can't bring the car, because I've been told it will be broken into or stolen. The company is giving me a beater to use down there.

Quick and easy Boost controller install

Here's how I did it, and it is very easy to do. No jacking up the car and dislocating your arms to get to the underside of the actuator. All done from the top and can be put back to stock in about 5 minutes. Locate the wastegate actuator and factory boost control solenoid. These are near the...
