I was in the same dilemma in 2015 and ended up buying a new 2016 CX5. It had more options and of course new.... but I really liked the interior (and quietness) of the Lexus. I think the 2013 Lexus looks pretty dated now so am happy with the decision.

I thought there a difference between 2016 & 2016.5 model brakes?

Seeing how the cx5 is already kind of stiff, I'd stick with H&R or Eibach. I have H&R and they're pretty close to stock stiffness... but of course they're not as low as corksport. I think that without going to coilovers you will get just get a more stiff ride the lower the aftermarket springs...

Been running these tires for over 2yrs... no issues whatsoever. I think they're quieter/smoother than stock too.

I have 245/50/19 Continentals on stock rims... Continental says they fit stock rim width. And if I ever go to 8.5 width rims I can still use these tires (not have to buy both wheels & tires at same time).

No, cutting/heating springs is the most s*** way(shady)... for a daily driver, with no performance goals, the HRs on stock shocks (as long as they last) are fine, with little ride difference to the average driver. It's not that much of a drop - 1/5"; now CS springs with 3" drop would likely be...

The only ones I found, at drug store, were like 1 inch circles and kind of thick... I just used a scissors to cut one into pieces I needed. I only used 3 pieces actually.

Does your armrest squeak when your arm is resting on it... mine did. Put some sticky felt pad (for bottom of furniture) on the underside of the armrest edge; problem solved.
