Seems if I leave it in the cold it stops working until it heats up a bit ...ot if I hit the dash in the correct way it starts spinning. I am assuming this means the motor itself is failing. So I plan a trip to the junkyard what years of protege blower motors are compatible ? this is a 1996 1.5 L

Was driving my 1996 mazda protege 1.5L DX and noticed the temperature gauge was still at cold theis is after 15 min of driving. the upper rad hose was cool and not full of water does this sound like a simple tstat failure or would it be a sensor?

I am needing to replace my axles on my 96 Protege , drivers side seems straight forward aside from prying out the axle from the trans. but on the passenger side there is a extension that in youtube vids you need to remove ...I am wondering can I not just pry the passenger side axle out of that...
