Hi all, thought i'd introduce myself, I go by Marchy and I'm the proud owner of a 2003 P5 named the silver surfer. I picked it up this past spring as a replacement for my wife's 08 focus coupe. The focus was a nice reliable vehicle but the seats were terrible and we needed something bigger...

I replaced the 4 in mine with AWR mounts, 2 of the 4 (front and passenger) were torn, the rear was cracked and tearing, and the transmission was ok, but beginning to crack. the NVH is a tad rough but the driving feel is so much better with the solid mounts.

bought a P5 back in spring at 143k, currently sitting at 154.5. been a great little car

I have the same issue in my wifes P5, curious to see if you find anything else that might be the cause.

i averaged 24.5 mpg for the 2 years i owned an 08. road trips you can get anywhere from 28-34 depending on how light the right foot is and how much you draft. but you can also easilly get 17mpg on a tank if you hang out in boost the entire time.
