The price diff b/w XC90 T8 and Cx-90 PHEV in Canada is huge. $30k diff for top of line trims, which makes Mazda a great bargain. The Volvo is nicer in many ways, but I don't think the price difference is justified.

Great summary. I have had XC90 T8 for 3 months now, and the ride quality with 21-inch wheels (especially in the rear seat) is not great without air suspension. Road noise is also noticeable on rough surfaces. These are the only gripes I have so far, and I'm aware of these before the purchase...

Have had the XC90 T8 for 3 months now. Amazing car, great efficiency i performance with it plugged in daily. Initially eyeing the cx90 But can't wait that long.

How's your comparison to the XC90 you drove, in particular ride quality, cabin noise, and handling feel? Which XC90 you drove, B5/B6 or T8 recharge? Both suvs offer interesting PHEV, but I feel that XC90 T8> cx90 PHEV, while cx90 i6> xc90 B5/B6 from the drivetrain perspective.

Just curious what temperature do you guys set when outside is 30 C (86F)+ or so? I set it to 21.5 and turned on the auto mode (I have the GT version) and I barely felt ok..Passenger at backseat kept complaining and fan speed had to up to 4.My mom's 2003 mazda 6 can handle the temperature even...

Update: Today I tried to put a full size bed frame inside the cabin, it barely fit with one side laid on the driver's armrest. with much wider mattress, it surely not possible to put it inside.

Another update: seems that it still just works occasionally. Will find out if they fix it completely.

Update: dropped my car at the dealer and they solved it in less than an hour, didn't know what cause the problem cuz my gf drove the car out and she never bothered asking. There is also a Mazda 3 gt model had the same issue at the dealer so this defect may be universal.
