Im thinking about purchasing a 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring and was wondering do they not come with remote start? I refuse to have a separate (second) key fob and Im not gonna pay the yearly fee for the app. Remote start should be standard equipment. If not, Ill be buying something else.
Im planning on purchasing 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring and had a question about Waze.
Since the touchscreen is disabled while driving, can you use the commander knob to report an accident, etc?
I'm on my 2nd Mazda 3 and was waiting to buy a CX-5 or Mazda 6 with the same head unit as the 2014 Mazda3. Looks like I won't be buying one. I'm tired of waiting. It's sad since I love Mazda but it's ridiculous that they're taking so long. Guess I'll go ahead and buy the 2014.5 Toyota Camry...
Many car manufacturers do .5 releases (unofficially). An example... My cousin and I both had 1995 Jeep Wranglers. His was a 1995 and mine a 1995.5 they each had different dark greens (one moss green the other forest green) and other minor changes (hood latches, etc.).
I noticed today that fueleconomy.gov has the 2015 CX-5 and 6 listed already.

Are the engineers that bone-headed as to not have the car locked when remote start is used? It just seems like a no-brainer to have the car lock when auto-start is used and then it unlock when you get near the car with the proximity key fob or unlock the car with the key.
Last week on vacation, I saw a 2014 Mazda 6 Liquid Silver with black rims and all the chrome logos and trim in black. It was SWEET! I wish I could have gotten a picture but I'm hoping on doing the same when I get a CX-5.
