Just put a set of these on our CX-5 so far pretty happy as well. It's kinda funny I had it narrowed down to the same contenders and also run winters so I didn't think the CC2 with it's other trade offs made as much sense.

I'd probably restart Mazda Connect (hold back+mute+nav for 10 seconds), restart the iPhone, and forget the car under settings on the iPhone. Then try it again.

Checked the invoice and it looks like the part for the shift knob was $121.92. When my wife told me it was under $200 including the oil change I was actually surprised.

We just had this issue on our 2017. It ended up being the shift knob. We had it replaced at the dealer.

Honestly the VW could use a bit more power also. I feel like the R-Line should come with the non b-cycle 2.0T like they use in many other vehicles. It has a few different variations in power but something closer to the 250 HP mark would make a world of difference IMO.

I recently discovered some of our local BP stations have it for premium. Ive been using it in the GTI for the last month and saw as high as 38 MPG! Dont really get over low 30s on 10% ethanol. The station I used previously changed owners and is no longer top tier.

Were you able to find 0% ethanol? On my GTI that makes a pretty big difference.

So one thing I find works is to leave it off when I its not raining and then enable auto when it is and just let or adjust speed. At least if the initial activation lag is the issue. This is one thing I notice is better with the VW.
